An events update:
Tuesday 12th July: places are still available for the CBRE Seminar next Tuesday evening covering the secondary property market and the equity, debt and property issues that are likely to impact on the short and medium term future of this market.
Thursday 15th September: Networking drinks to be held at Corney & Barrow CityPoint. As usual, this is a casual arrangement, with all welcome to join us for a catch up over a glass of wine. The APB sponsors the first round of drinks.
Tuesday 27th September: The APB 2011 Golf, Leisure and Networking day, kindly sponsored by Capita Symonds. This will be held at Foxhills, with golf, spa and golf clinic options. The cost of this day has been greatly reduced from previous years (£35) as a result of some generous sponsorship from Capita Symonds, who will join us on the day. This is a great networking opportunity, with normally circa 50 members attending. I would encourage as many of our new members to attend as possible as it really is a great way of getting to know some of the other members in a relaxed environment.
Tuesday 11th October: the Annual General Meeting will be held at LUNCHTIME on the 11th October. We are testing a move from the usual evening format to try and encourage better attendance. It is extremely important to the Board that we get your feedback on what we are doing right for our members and what you would prefer we did differently. We would encourage you all to attend this meeting, which will be followed by a lunch and drinks reception.
Thursday 13th October: Annual Conference. Details to follow, but likely to be a 2pm start, with a drinks reception in the evening following the conference.
